July Audible 3 for 2 Sale

The July Audible 3 for 2 sale* is by far the best sale I have seen from them in a long time! Honestly, I wish I had more credits right now. As usual I will share some of the highlights with you but I highly recommend that you have a look for yourself too. SO MUCH CHOICE!

The Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers

All three Wayfarers books are in the July Audible 3 for 2 sale! The order is as follows:

• The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet
• A Closed and Common Orbit
• Record of a Spaceborn Few

I am completely in love with this space opera series and Becky Chambers character-driven writing in general. At some point I will review them on my blog but I struggle to find the words to do them justice! Although they are all set in the same universe the stories are separate, with a couple of little cross-overs. They have a diverse cast of characters, some LGBT+ representation and all of her books have this wonderful, natural acceptance of individuals. They are really beautiful. This is ‘soft’ sci-fi that is suitable for anyone.

Divergent Veronica Roth

Being completely honest I think that the first book in this series is great but I was not a fan of the other books. That said, I think the last book is probably better in audiobook form as it has multiple PoV. I have included it as a lot of people love this YA dystopian series. The series is in the following order:

• Divergent
• Insurgent
• Allegiant

The Witcher series by Andrzei Sapkowski

A lot of people have heard of The Witcher whether it be from the books, games or Netflix series. It is a fantasy series about myths, magic and monsters. I was very kindly gifted a copy of the first book from the lovely @KirstyProcter96 <3 The first three books are included in the July Audible 3 for 2 offer so you can get started. Here is the order:

• Time of Contempt
• Baptism of Fire

The Millennium Series by Stieg Larsson

This is a series I have meant to read for a long time. I refuse to watch the films until I have read the books. It falls into the contemporary mystery/thriller categories and I’m sure you will already be familiar with the titles! Here are the first three, which are all included in the sale:

• 3) The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest

The Illuminae Files series by Aimee Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

So many people have told me to listen to the full cast audiobooks of this series! I already have Illuminae ready to go so I feel like I should get the rest of the series whilst it is on offer. This is the much loved YA sci-fi series set in 2575. Two mega corporations are at war of a little planet, a deadly plague has broken out and everything is more dangerous than it seems. Here are the titles in order:

• Gemina
• Obsidio

Angie Thomas

Both of Angie Thomas’ fantastic books are available and I highly recommend you check out these own voices titles. Both give an insight into the poverty stricken lives of poor, working class Black families within America. They deal with topics such as discrimination and prejudice.

• The Hate U Give
• On The Come Up

I grabbed On The Come Up in the June sale so if your credits are limited, I’m sure that it will come up again in the future.
